BOAR is a music player app. We respect your privacy and collect as little data as possible. The app runs mostly on your device, with limited server use only for music delivery, purchases, and listening rooms.

Data We Collect

• Nothing by default. BOAR does not require accounts and does not collect personal information like names, emails, phone numbers, or contacts.
• In-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. We do not see your payment details—only whether a purchase succeeded.
• Listening rooms (optional). If you use listening rooms, we temporarily store:
  • A room code
  • The display name you choose
  • Room participants, shared tracks, and chat messages

  This data is used only to run the room and is deleted when the room closes.

• Audio downloads and caching. Audio files and cover art may be temporarily downloaded or cached so the app works properly. No tracking or analytics are attached.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Apple handles all payments. Music content may come from third-party sources, but requests are handled anonymously through our servers.
